Honors Orchestra students

You will join students from around the country, led by internationally-acclaimed string pedagogue Peter Slowik in a performance of Barber's Adagio for Strings and Vivaldi "Spring"

You will be sent parts around June 1, and will be expected to attend 2-3 rehearsals at Oberlin Conservatory in the first few weeks of July.

Participating in the String Spectacular requires that students help us celebrate the event by filling Severance Hall! Accepted students will be required to purchase a minimum of 4 tickets (extremely limited scholarship funds will be available to families for whom this is impossible). A $100 Gift Certificate to Shar Music will go to the student who sells the most tickets.

Thanks to a generous offer from D'Addario, a limited number of FREE sets of strings will be randomly distributed to participants.
