Credo Festival
Every summer, the most talented young string and piano musicians converge upon Oberlin Conservatory for the Credo Chamber Music festival. Over the span of three weeks, students engage in an intensive course of study and performance. Led by a world-class faculty, consisting of professors from prestigious conservatories (Juilliard, Oberlin) and musicians from renowned orchestras (Chicago and Pittsburgh symphonies, Cleveland), the Credo festival is among the most challenging and rewarding opportunities available to young musicians.

The singularity of the Credo festival, however, derives from an emphasis on community service. Once per week, students take a 'break' from their studies, volunteering at local nonprofits and performing for those who do not have easy access to the arts-audiences in nursing homes, hospices, inner-city youth centers, prisons, and hospitals.

If you are a string or piano student, age 13-22, review the Credo website for more details and application information. If you are interested in having Credo perform for your agency, contact us.
